Father Theodore Campbell remembered for culinary skills

Father Theodore Campbell, a priest of the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, was close in age and friendship with his next-oldest brother, Bishop Frederick Campbell of Columbus in Ohio. Over the years, they spoke at least once a week on the phone and shared many interests, including cooking. Father Campbell died on Sept. 18 at age 81.

Deacon Bernard “Bernie” Dols, ordained in 1987, died April 25 at the age of 90. The Marine Corps veteran taught drafting and building construction estimating for 30 years at Dunwoody Institute (now Dunwoody College of Technology) in Minneapolis. He was also a clown for the Aqua Jesters Clown Club, entertaining people in Aquatennial parades and children’s hospitals.
