Deacon James B. Seaton Jr. died on Aug. 27, 2012. He was 79.
Deacon Seaton was born July 4, 1933, and ordained a deacon for the archdiocese in 1989. He served at St. Peter in Mendota.
The Mass of Christian Burial was on Aug. 30 at Our Lady of the Presentation Chapel in St. Paul. Interment is at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights.
He is survived by his wife Mary Anne, along with children, grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
