Sophomore forward Steevenson Lamarre scored all the points Totino-Grace needed for the Class A state high school boys soccer championship Nov. 2.

Lamaarre’s first-half goal, assisted by senior midfielder Collin Matzoll, gave the Eagles a 1-0 victory over St. Thomas Academy at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Based in Mendota Heights, St. Thomas Academy (16-2-3) came in as the defending Class A state champions.

Totino-Grace (19-1-1), based in Fridley, finished the season on a 12-game unbeaten streak to claim the program’s first state championship since 2004.
