One new chaplain and three religious priests appointed

Four priests have been given assignments in the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis.

Father Matthew Ehmke, a former member of the Crosier order who recently became a diocesan priest, was nam­ed to serve as a full-time chaplain at St. Therese Nursing Home in Hop­kins, effective July 10. Most recently, he served at Our Lady of Grace in Edina.

Three Redemptorist priests were named to serve at St. Alphonsus in Brooklyn Center, beginning Mon­day, Aug. 1. Father Peter Connolly was named pastor. Father Tuan Nguyen and Father Steven Nyl will serve as associate priests.

Effective July 10, 2011:

Rev. Matthew Ehmke, full-time chaplain, St. Therese Nursing Home, Hopkins.

Effective Aug. 1, 2011:

Rev. Peter W. Connolly, CSsR, pastor, Saint Alphonsus, Brooklyn Center.

Rev. Tuan Nguyen, CSsR, associate priest, Saint Alphonsus, Brook­lyn Center.

Rev. Steven Nyl, CSsR, associate priest, Saint Alphonsus, Brooklyn Center.
