Cathedral Organs ready for inaugural concert

The Inaugural concert of the newly restored Cathedral pipe organs is set for 7:30 p.m., Oct. 24 at the Cathedral of St. Paul.

Internationally-acclaimed organist, Olivier Latry, head organist at the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, Paris, will be the featured musician. He will play both the historic E. M. Skinner and the Æolian-Skinner pipe organs during the one-hour program.

The celebratory concert will be offered free to the community. Good will donations will be accepted to help establish an endowment for maintenance of the organs.

All Saints all-parish reunion

All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville will hold an all-parish reunion Oct. 27 to 30. Fourteen priests who have served the parish will be on hand for the event. The program begins at 6:30 p.m. each evening with a priest speaking on the faith followed by refreshments in the parish hall.

Speaking will be:

Oct. 27: Father Robert Pish on meaning and belonging.
Oct. 28: Father Jeff Huard on belonging to the Catholic Church.
Oct. 29: Father Don DeGrood on strength, freedom and peace.
Oct. 30: Mass celebrated by Bishop Lee Piché and his reflections on prayer.
