The ordination of Andrew Cozzens to the Episcopacy will take place on December 9, the transferred Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. The ceremony will take place at the Cathedral of Saint Paul and will begin at 2 p.m.

All faithful are invited to attend this important event in the life of our local Church. Please be aware that is seating is limited. Parking is also limited, so carpooling and offsite parking are recommended. If you plan to attend, there are several off-site parking options:

Chartered shuttle buses begin running from the above offsite lots to the Cathedral at 1:00 p.m. Buses from the Cathedral to the offsite parking lots and the Crowne Plaza hotel where the reception will be held begin running immediately following the ordination. Buses will make return trips to the offsite parking lots from the Crowne Plaza hotel throughout the afternoon.

Please note the Sears parking lot previously indicated as available for parking in prior communications is now unavailable.

The event can also be heard live on Relevant Radio 1330 AM and via live audio-streaming at www.relevantradio.com, keyword “bishop.”

It will also be carried live on local Metro Cable Channel 6 for those living in the greater Twin Cities metro area. Please check your local cable TV listings for details.

The ordination will additionally be rebroadcast on The CatholicTV Network at 8 p.m. Central Time on December 12.
