Father Anthony Lusvardi, 37, a lifelong parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo in
St. Anthony, was ordained for the Society of Jesus June 3 at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

He attended the parish school and St. Anthony Village High School, and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. In 2006, he entered the Jesuit community and then received a master’s degree in philosophy at Loyola University Chicago, followed by completing his theological education at the Jesuit School of Theology at Boston College.
After serving at a parish in the Diocese of Rapid City, South Dakota, this summer, he will return to Rome to finish a licentiate in sacramental theology at the Pontifical Atheneum of St. Anselm. He plans to celebrate a Mass at St. Charles Borromeo this fall.
