Curtis Wehmeyer, the former priest currently in prison in Minnesota for sexually assaulting two boys, will be serving additional jail time in Wisconsin once his first sentence is completed; he has admitted sexually assaulting the boys’ older brother during a camping trip in Wisconsin.

Wehmeyer, convicted in 2013 of abusing the younger boys in 2010, was removed from the priesthood by the Vatican.

Although initially facing a second-degree sexual assault charge, Wehmeyer pleaded guilty in Chippewa (Wisconsin) County Circuit Court to the lesser charge of third-degree sexual assault of the 18-year-old in 2011.

Wehmeyer’s six-year sentence — three in prison and three under supervison — will begin once his sentence in Minnesota is served.
