Deacon Thomas Coleman, who served Sacred Heart parish in Rob­bins­dale before he retired, died, Jan. 2, after a lengthy illness.

He was born Aug. 23, 1927, and was ordained a deacon of the archdiocese in September 1994.

A funeral Mass was celebrated Jan. 6, at St. Alphonsus in Brooklyn Cen­ter, with interment at Fort Snel­ling. Deacon Coleman is survived by his wife, Lucille, two children and four grandchildren.
