Archbishop Bernard Hebda has announced the following appointments in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis:

Effective February 12, 2018

Reverend Luis Albert Curbelo, SEMV, is no longer assigned as parochial vicar at the Church of Saint Francis de Sales in Saint Paul and has been recalled to Puerto Rico by his Religious Superior. Accordingly, he no longer possesses faculties to minister in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.

Effective February 15, 2018

Reverend Hak Sun Kim, appointed parochial administrator of the Church of Saint Andrew Kim in Saint Paul. Father Kim is a priest of the Diocese of Incheon, Korea.

Effective February 21, 2018

Reverend Jules Omalanga, a priest incardinated in the Archdiocese of Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of Congo), is no longer assigned as chaplain at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and chaplain to the Francophone community at the Church of Saint Boniface in Minneapolis. Accordingly, he no longer possesses faculties to minister in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.

Effective March 1, 2018

Deacon Tim Zinda, appointed chaplain for Anoka County correctional facilities. This is a transfer from his previous appointment as chaplain for Ramsey County correctional facilities, and is in addition to his current assignment as Coordinator of Correctional Ministry for the Archdiocese and to the Church of Saint Paul in Ham Lake.
