Archbishop Bernard Hebda has announced the following appointments in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis.
Effective September 28, 2023
Reverend Francisco Pérez Colunga, C.Ss.R., assigned as missionary in residence at the Church of Saint Alphonsus in Brooklyn Center. Father Perez is a priest of the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer, Mexico Province.
Effective November 1, 2023
Reverend DePorres Durham, OP, assigned as parochial administrator of the Church of Saint Albert the Great in Minneapolis. Father DePorres is a religious order priest of the Dominican Friars, Province of Saint Albert the Great. The previous pastor, Reverend Jude McPeak, OP, has been reassigned outside of the Archdiocese by his religious superior.
Reverend Biju Mathew, assigned as pastor of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament in Saint Paul. This is a transfer from his current assignment as parochial administrator of the Church of Saint Boniface in Minneapolis and is in addition to his assignment as chaplain for M Health Fairview Saint John’s Hospital in Maplewood.
Reverend David Ostrowski, assigned as parochial administrator of the Church of Saint Boniface in Minneapolis. This is in addition to his assignment as pastor of the Church of Saint William in Fridley.
Reverend Sojan Thomas, CFIC, assigned as sacramental minister of the Church of Saint Boniface in Minneapolis. This is in addition to his assignment as chaplain for M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina and Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
Reverend Joseph-Quoc Vuong, released for an assignment in the Diocese of Phoenix.
