Sacred Heart in Robbinsdale celebrated its 100th anniversary by completing a building project that adds a new gathering space and connects three buildings – the church, school and actitivies building.

The 14,000-square feet of new space was dedicated after the 10 a.m. Mass Dec. 2 by Bishop Lee Piché.

The project also featured the addition of school offices, four new classrooms and an elevator to make the space handicapped accessible.

Total cost of the project is $2.5 million, with $1.8 million raised so far through the parish campaign, called Focus on Facilities.
