Legalization of commercial surrogacy
“Say NO to the Commercial Surrogacy Bill, SF 2627/HF 291. The bill has many implications for women and children. It is irresponsible for the Minnesota Legislature to not fully examine the significant concerns surrogacy raises.”
“Some states have created commissions to study the effects of commercial surrogacy on women and children. Other states, and many countries, have banned the practice of surrogacy altogether. The Minnesota Legislature should be taking the right steps to ensure we are protecting women and children from exploitation and commodification.”
