From left, Jim Twyman and Roger Thoennes of the Knights of Columbus Marian Council in Bloomington finish erecting 400 crosses Nov. 12 on the grounds of Our Lady of Grace in Edina, where they were scheduled to remain for two weeks from that date. The display is called Cemetery of the Innocents. Each cross represents 10 unborn babies killed by abortion every day in the U.S. The crosses were supplied by the Franciscan Brothers of Peace in St. Paul and installed by a group of 19 people from both the council and Our Lady of Grace. Twyman is a member of OLG, while Thoennes belongs to St. Richard in Richfield. Photo by Dave Hrbacek / The Catholic Spirit
