Nine men are scheduled to be ordained priests by Archbishop Bernard Hebda at a 10 a.m. Mass May 28 at the Cathedral of St. Paul in St. Paul. It will be the first time Archbishop Hebda will ordain priests in the archdiocese.

The following men are being ordained for the archdiocese: Deacons Neil Bakker, Michael Daly, Paul Haverstock, Kyle Kowalczyk, Michael McClellan, Matthew Northenscold, Mark Pavlak and Joseph Zabinski. Deacon Haverstock has been studying at the Pontifical North American College in Rome; the others have completed their studies at the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity in St. Paul.

Also being ordained is Deacon Adam Tokashiki for his order, Pro Ecclesia Sancta, which serves St. Mark in St. Paul.

Archbishop Hebda ordained nine transitional deacons May 14 at the Basilica of St. Mary in Minneapolis the day after his installation as archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis. It was his first major act in that permanent role.
