Those wishing to learn more about adult faith formation are invited to attend a workshop on the topic presented by the Association of Coordinators and Religious Educators (ACRE).

It will take place Sept. 19 at St. Pascal Baylon in St. Paul.

The cost is $20 for ACRE members and $30 for non-members.

The workshop begins with check-in and breakfast at 8:30 a.m., and ends at 2:30 p.m.

The featured speaker is Jane Regan, an associate professor of theology and religious education at Boston College.

The focus of her teaching and research is adult faith formation.

She has been involved in religious education for more than 20 years at the parish and diocesan levels, most recently as a consultant to parishes working to enhance adult faith formation.

She has written a book on the subject, entitled “Toward an Adult Church: A Vision of Faith Formation,” which was published in 2002 by Loyola Press.
