The body of Brother Paul O’Donnell, guardian overall of the Franciscan Brothers of Peace, is surrounded by other brothers, family and friends during a prayer service in the chapel of the brothers’ friary in St. Paul after a wake service Feb. 26 at St. Columba in St. Paul. The body of Brother Paul was carried to the chapel in a procession from the church. His funeral Mass was Feb. 27 at the Cathedral of St. Paul, with Bishop Lee Piché from the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis and Bishop Paul Sirba from the Diocese of Duluth celebrating.
